Jaime Ventura Escacena
Jaime has more than 15 years of experience in the renewable sector. He has been the founder of Everwood Capital and participated in the development of more than 177 MW of photovoltaics. In addition, Jaime is a practicing lawyer and holds executive positions in different companies. He is the General Director of Campusfree SL, CEO of Inversiones Capitalia Sur SA and Corporación Ventura Osuna, a company dedicated to renewables and a member of Pimmera SA, among others. Additionally, Jaime has a long experience as a teacher, being a professor at the University of Seville and having also given different conferences and classes in other courses and masters. Jaime has a law degree and a master’s degree in Financial Law from the University of Seville.

Juan Ruiz Fuentes
Juan has more than 12 years of experience in investment banking, specifically, in structuring and financing infrastructure and renewable energy projects for an amount of more than 800 million euros. He also has extensive experience in the development of the rest of the investment banking products with SMEs and medium-sized companies.
Before joining Austral Juan was Senior Manager of Project Financeen at Banco Popular, responsible for risks of non-performing assets in Andalucía. Later in 2018, after the integration of Popular with Banco Santander, he became part of the team of credit specialists of the Investment Banking of the Territorial of Andalucía, where he has originated and executed 13 operations of renewable projects, RE, corporate loans and bilateral investment of more than 100 million euros.
Juan has a degree in Business Administration from ETEA and a Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking 2007-8 from IEB.

Francisco Fontán Vilanova
Francisco has more than 12 years of experience in investment banking, specifically, in structuring and financing infrastructure and renewable energy projects for an amount of more than 1,500 million euros.
Before joining Austral Francisco, he was the head of the Project Finance department at Banco Popular, being responsible for a portfolio of more than 1,800 million euros. Later in 2018, after the integration of Popular with Banco Santander, he became part of the Project Finance team for energy, oil & gas as Senior Vice President, originating and executing a total of 12 operations of wind, PV, thermosolar, waste projects, etc. .
Additionally, Francisco was at Arcano and Deloitte where he performed different functions in advising companies and auditing accounts. Francisco has a degree in Business Administration from CUNEF, EMBA 2012 from IESE and PDD 2018 from IE.
